Achievements of the Ministry of Education in the Construction and Rehabilitation of Educational Centers

New Buildings Constructed for 1,368 Schools and Madrasas, With 4,160 Others Renovated Over Five Years

Over the past five years, new buildings have been constructed for 1,368 schools and religious madrasas across Afghanistan. Buildings at 4,160 other schools and madrasas have been repaired and renovated.
In the first six months of the current 1405 academic year, foundation stones were laid for new buildings at 42 additional schools and madrasas. During the same period, repairs and renovations were completed at 160 schools and madrasas.
The construction and renovation of these buildings have provided tens of thousands of students with suitable, safe learning environments that meet educational standards.
